An AI-focused insurance technology company has raised $50 million in minority growth equity funding from Scottish Equity Partners (SEP), marking a major boost for its expansion plans across the global insurance market.
Founded in 2021, the company - which builds artificial intelligence solutions specifically for insurance operations - has been profitably self-funded since inception. SEP&rsquo;s investment represents its first external capital injection and will be used to accelerate product development, customer engagement and geographic expansion.
According to the firm, its AI-driven platform is designed to automate key insurance functions across carriers, brokers and MGAs. Its tools are engineered to understand the specific language and regulatory requirements of the insurance sector, enabling rapid deployment without major systems overhaul.
The company already serves clients in more than 20 countries, processing hundreds of billions in gross written premiums through its systems. Its customer base includes major global insurers and service partners, and the new funding is expected to help deepen those relationships and support broader adoption of its technology.
SEP said the investment aligns with its strategy of backing intellectual-property-rich technologies that address complex problems faced by large enterprises. The capital will support ongoing innovation and help the insurtech compete more effectively on a global stage
